The great thing about Side tracks is that I can go on frolicks of my own – respond to news stories, the developments of the moment. And in this side track, I think about the effect on the British culture of the proposed cuts in Legal Aid, which are now planned by the government. And also think about various chinks in the cuts, that the idea of Human Rights, in its legal form, might provide.
